Built like a house by the sea, Balai is perched atop a rocky slope in San Teodoro Mabini, Batangas. Architecturally designed with vast open spaces, it offers sweeping views of the sea. Scattered around are groves of trees, left to grow in their natural habitat, that frame the view from each of the decks of the nipa and bamboo cottages.

Relaxing comes so easily that one almost forgets that Balai is just minutes away from some of the most colorful dive spots in Batangas. Open everyday and all year round, Balai offers SCUBA diving and other sports equipment to guests who are out to discover the wonders of another world under the sea.

Anilao is at the south-east coast of Luzon and just a two hour drive from Manila. It is famous with Expats and Local-divers for the bio-diversity. The short distance to Manila makes Anilao to the number one destination for a diving weekend. The prices are low and if you come with a buddy you can make some great shore diving and pay for tanks and weights.
