- Butuan Bay Divers, Butuan City
We are a group of dedicated amateur and professional SCUBA Divers based in the Butuan Bay area, Northern Mindanao, Philippines. We are a fledging organisation providing dive excursions and SDI and PADI Dive Courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Assistant Instructor by certified instructors.
Our diving is based from the beautiful Jurassic Park Resort in Carmen with most of our dives conducted in the same area. We have ten fantastic sites featuring great fish life and beautiful corals in clear water. Most of our dive sites are shore dives with a few sites just 15 minutes by boat from the resort.
Dive Courses are conducted at Bolihon Resort in Carmen, about 30 minutes’ drive from Butuan. The confined water component of the open water course maybe conducted at the Pool at the Balanghai Hotel should conditions at Bolihon not be suitable.
Currently BBD does not have a functioning retail dive shop. BBD is expecting to have a SDI retail facility very soon.
