The Visayas (Visayan Islands) is one of the three principal geographical divisions of the Philippines, along with Mindanao and Luzon.
This big group of islands in the middle of the Philippines is perfect for so-called Island hopping. With a little effort many different locations with a lot of very good dive sites can be explored in a single diving holiday.
In addition to high biodiversity in the macro range, the Visayan Islands are known for its stunning coral gardens. In Donsol and Southern Leyte at certain seasons (mostly from January to June) also whale sharks are often seen on
dive and snorkeling trips.
